Recreation And Leisure For Fun (RALFF)
Recreation and Leisure for Fun or ‘RALFF’ is a recreation group for younger adults with intellectual disability, providing the opportunity to socialise, form friendships and increase confidence and social skills, while taking part in age appropriate leisure activities.
Who: Younger adults aged between 13 – 35 years with an intellectual disability
When: Saturday from 1pm – 6pm with each participant offered one session per month
Lets Get Started Walking
Put your best foot forward and get started walking
This free group provides walking activities for people interested in implementing physical activity into their weekly routine.
Our walking group caters to walkers of all paces and focuses on supporting slower and/or less confident walkers. More confident walkers can walk ahead unsupervised with the support of other fit, regular walkers.
Regular walking can improve your health in a number of ways, including:
- Maintain a healthy weight
- Improve your sleep
- Prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes
- Strengthen your bones and muscles
- Improve your mood
- Improve your balance and coordination

Water Exercise for Health
Water Exercise for Health is a social and fun water exercise program, run by volunteers with support from physiotherapists. This group is suitable for older people with arthritis and for those who would benefit from exercise in the water.
Pool temperature is approximately 28°C.
When: Monday and Friday weekly
Venue: Yarra Swim School, 21 Liat Way Greensborough
Cost: $5 per session

Acquired Brain Injury and Intellectual Disability
The Acquired Brain Injury and Intellectual Disability group meets at Hurstbridge Bowling Club for a social game of lawn bowls each week for middle-aged adults who have an acquired brain injury or intellectual disability.
Who: People aged 35 – 55 years
When: Monday 10am – 2pm
Older Adult Activity
The Older Adult Activity group provides care and support, recreational activities and social interaction for older people.
Who: People aged 65 years or more
When: Monday and Wednesday 10am – 2pm
