24 February 2022

healthAbility Coronavirus Response

As you're probably aware, it's been a difficult few weeks for the healthcare sector. But following the end of Victoria's Code Brown conditions, we are excited to start welcoming more of our clients back to our centres.

This includes our groups and programs resuming on site after a temporary suspension (including Connect Well Groups and gym programs), and more in-person appointments becoming available for our clients (combined with telehealth services where appropriate).

If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to discuss your appointment options, please get in touch with us on 9430 9100 or email contact@healthability.org.au

We appreciate your patience as we try to continue supporting the health and wellbeing of community members as safely as we can.

Your health and safety

Safety continues to be our top priority, with measures in place including:

  • Keeping a safe distance of 1.5 metres
  • Maintaining good hand hygiene, including hand sanitizing and washing
  • Anyone attending our sites must wear a surgical face mask, unless they have a lawful exemption
  • Screening of clients for risk of COVID-19
  • Staff are not to attend work if unwell

When you visit our sites, you can be assured that our staff and services comply with mandatory vaccination requirements.

COVID-19 vaccination

By getting vaccinated and continuing COVID Safe behaviours, we can all help to protect ourselves, our families and our communities. For more information about the COVID-19 vaccine and to book your appointment please visit the Victorian Department of Health website (please note healthAbility is not a vaccine provider).
