It’s Wednesday just any ordinary Wednesday, except if you attend our Out and About: Younger Onset Dementia group, Wednesday is one of your favourite days of the week. On Wednesdays you get picked up from your home and get to visit some of Melbourne’s tourist attractions, or maybe it will be bowling today, or attending a music concert all with people in a similar situation to you.
You make new friends, friends with people who understand that younger onset dementia is unique in that people with this condition are under 65 years of age, can be fit, healthy, working, raising a family when everything changes. This group offers your family, often a carer some respite while you take in some local venues, food and good company.

“I miss catching up with the group if I can’t attend, I like how I get the opportunity to see things I haven’t seen before”. – James
