Bringing Up Great Kids - Parent support program

Join healthAbility Family Support Worker Joan Lauricella for the Bringing Up Great Kids parenting program. Run over seven weekly sessions, this program supports you as a parent or carer to:

  • Learn more about the origins of your own parenting style and how it can be more effective
  • Understand more about your child’s development and behaviour
  • Identify and overcome barriers to being the kind of parent you would like to be
  • Discover ways to take care of yourself and find support if you need it

This reflective, respectful and supportive parenting program is aimed at parents/carers of children aged 2-10 years. It focuses on building loving and nurturing relationships between parents and carers and their children.
