Supporting children, young people and families in Melbourne

Telehealth appointments are now available for all our children, youth and family services!

At healthAbility, we provide a warm, supportive environment where children, young people and families can access the care they need to grow, learn and thrive. Our services are designed to support development at every stage - from infancy through to adolescence, with a focus on building confidence, learning new skills and strengthening family wellbeing.

We understand how important it is to give your child the best start in life. If you are concerned about your child’s communication, behaviour, social or emotional development, or their ability to participate in everyday activities, our team can help. You do not need a referral or diagnosis to get started. Our first step is always to listen, understand your concerns and work alongside you to plan the right support.

Our multidisciplinary team includes speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, dietitians and parenting specialists. Together, we provide holistic care tailored to your child’s strengths, needs and goals.

Holistic support through a team-based approach

We take a collaborative, strengths-based approach to children’s health and development. Our team works together to create a complete picture of your child’s abilities, challenges and daily experiences. Each service is tailored to your child’s pace and delivered through supportive, play-based assessment and therapy.

Children aged 0–18 can access our services in a way that best suits their family — individual sessions, group programs, school-based support or community programs, in-person consultations or telehealth. We offer a range of fee options, including Medicare, community health funding, private health insurance and NDIS funding for eligible participants.

Our goal is to help your child feel safe, understood and supported to reach their potential.
