Connecting Carers project

As part of a Connecting Carers project funded by the Victorian Government, we are offering activities to help connect carers in the region of Nillumbik.

Upcoming activities include:

  • Morning tea outing at Swipers Gully, Friday 25 March 2022, 10.30am
  • A visit to Omaru Alpaca Farm in Cottles Bridge, on Monday 4 April, 1.30pm - 3.30pm
  • A series of easy meditation sessions for carers during May run out of the Hurstbridge Hub, while our Memory care café is running on Monday afternoons (1.30pm)

Ideas for future activities as part of the program also include art sessions, morning tea outings and horticultural therapy.

The Connecting Carers project is aimed at people over 50 and is funded by the Victorian State Government, Department of Health and Human Services through the Victorian Carer Strategy.
