Rebuilding community
COVIDSafe Community Grants are available to fund community initiatives that will help rebuild community connections that have been impacted by COVID-19.
The grants are coordinated by healthAbility and Access Health and Community (AccessHC).
COVIDSafe Community Grants will help not-for-profit community groups and organisations to implement community-based initiatives that build and foster:
- social inclusiveness
- sense of community
- belonging and place.
They will do so while providing promotional and educational opportunities for COVID-19 community safety and vaccination.
Submitting your grant
Follow these steps to submit your grant:
- Discuss your project with our COVIDSafe Health Promotion Practitioner.
- Submit the COVIDSafe Community Grants Application Form to HRAR@accesshc.org.au. Alternatively, you can post it to: Access Health and Community – HRAR Team 378 Burwood Road, Hawthorn VIC 3122.
- The COVIDSafe Grants Committee will review applications. We will notify applicants of their grant outcome four weeks after the grant submission.
- Grant activities and funds need to be completed and spent respectively by 30 June 2022. A brief report needs to be completed and submitted as part of final acquittal.
