Food for Fellas - 4 week course in August

Are you a man aged 55 or over living in Nillumbik who wants to improve your cooking skills and knowledge of food?

Join healthAbility and Nillumbik Shire Council for a four-week cooking course to learn more about making easy, quick and nourishing recipes in a supportive social space.

This course is aimed at men who may be living alone, who may be performing a caring role, or who may have experienced a recent change of circumstance that requires them to learn basic cooking, nutrition and food preparation skills.

The cooking course will be run by a healthAbility dietitian with support from Nillumbik Shire Council's Social Connection Officer. Each session will consist of a cooking class, followed by time to sit down and enjoy the meal as a group.

Time: 11.00am-1.00pm
Date: Thursday 8, 15, 22 and 29 August (four weekly sessions)
Cost: $20 per person (total for four sessions)
