Practice relaxation and mindfulness
Relaxation is an essential factor in maintaining a healthy body and mind. Undertaking regular relaxation and mindfulness helps you to release tension and is therefore important in managing stress, a known contributor to the development of many diseases.
Benefits of undertaking regular relaxation include:
- Being calm in body and mind
- Thinking more clearly
- Being able to manage stress better
Our Keeping Calm group is a maintenance program that can help you improve your physical and mental health with simple relaxation skills that you can use in everyday life!
When is the group?
Every Wednesday 11.30am – 12.30pm during school term.
How can I register for this program?
Bookings are essential. Please contact healthAbility on 9430 9100 or complete an online enquiry form.
How much does it cost?
$25 per person for a 7 week term. Introductory trial session is $5.00 or $3.00 concession for pension and health care card holders.
