We’re excited about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
As an organisation that prides itself on providing person-centred holistic support and giving people choice and control, we look forward to continue working with people with disability to achieve their goals.
We also understand that people don’t live in isolation of family, friends and community, so work with the important people and groups in your life to support you to implement your independence, community involvement and health and wellbeing plans.
healthAbility offers a broad range of supports to NDIS Participants, either at our premises in Main Road Eltham, in home or within the community, including:
- Social Support Groups
- Social Support for Individuals
- Domestic Assistance
- Home Maintenance
- Meal Preparation
- Personal Support
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Pathology
- Community Nursing
- Diabetes Education
- Diet and Nutrition Advice
- Exercise Physiology
For children aged 0-6 years old, the NDIS also supports early intervention. Early intervention encourages getting intensive support as early as possible to reduce the impact of disability on a child and their family. healthAbility can support you in providing the best plan and treatment for early intervention for your child.
