Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we are unable to provide Parenting Seminars in person. As an alternative to ensure that parents and families are supported during this time, we have pre-recorded the Parenting Seminar – Helping Your Anxious Child hosted by our Family Support Worker Joan Lauricella. The video link will be emailed directly to your inbox once you register via the below TryBooking link. Each video is available for 30 days and is a cost of $10.
It can be difficult being a parent and watching your child struggle with anxiety. Early support can help children learn to understand their anxiety and provide some practical coping strategies to manage challenging situations.
This practical video is suitable for parents with preschool or early primary school aged children who are concerned about their child’s anxious behaviour. You will learn helpful ways of responding to and supporting your child with anxiety.
This parenting seminar covers the following topics:
- How anxiety can affect children
- What you can do to support your anxious child
- Helpful and unhelpful responses to your child’s anxiety
Available – 1 June to 30 June 2020
Cost – $10 per video
Access from 1 June via Trybooking – https://www.trybooking.com/BINMA
