Teeth whitening
We offer a range of effective teeth whitening services at both our Box Hill and Eltham dental clinicis, with the most popular being professional bleaching.
After a professional consultation, teeth whitening procedures are typically carried out at home by the patient using a customised tray created in the consultation.
Whitening gel is placed in the tray which is then worn for up to two hours a day and results are usually seen within two weeks. Your dental professional will advise you on how long to wear the tray both initially and for maintenance.
In some circumstances, teeth whitening procedures are provided in the dental chair by your dental professional. Teeth whitening gel is placed on the teeth and the whitening process activated by use of a clinically proven ultraviolet light.
Veneers
Dental veneers cover any visible imperfections and enhance the appearance of your teeth.
Veneers are thin porcelain or composite resin facings tailor made to bond to the front surface of a front tooth and are perfect for treating a variety of dental problems including:
- Crooked, oddly shaped or misaligned teeth
- Crowded teeth
- Broken, chipped or worn teeth
- Gaps between teeth
- Permanently stained or discoloured teeth
Veneers can be applied to one or more teeth. Following treatment, they require no additional maintenance other than regular oral hygiene practice, and regular dental check-ups.
