Are you a caring and supportive man who plays a significant role in the lives of your loved ones? Whether you're a father, husband, partner, son, or friend, caregiving is a vital part of your life. Join our Men's Carer Support Group – a safe and welcoming space located at the Manningham Men’s Shed.
The Men’s Carer Support Group provides an opportunity for men to get together and receive support through sharing experiences and information.
The Group offers:
- Peer connection – Connect with like-minded men who understand the challenges and joys of caregiving. Share your experiences, stories, and insights in a non-judgmental environment
- Open Discussions - Engage in informal discussions about balancing caregiving responsibilities, managing stress, and maintaining your own well-being while supporting others.
Connecting Men
Many carers report feelings of social isolation, loneliness, a lack of support and even resentment, all leading to burnout. The goal of our Men’s Carer Support group is to provide a place where you can relax, unwind and connect with other carers who may have had similar experiences to you.
You can socialise with like-minded men, support one another and even share service recommendations, tips, advice and information about caregiving. Not only is it a social occasion, but a learning experience.
