Run by a qualified physiotherapist, the group focuses on safe movement, building strength, and improving mobility during a transitional stage of life.
Sessions are evidence-based and tailored to individual needs, aiming to prevent pain, enhance confidence, and deepen understanding of the body. The group sessions also provide a great opportunity to socialise and connect with others in a similar life stage.
Our Move Well exercise programs are run by exercise physiologists, physiotherapists and allied health assistants. You will need to have an assessment by an exercise physiologist or physiotherapist before starting one of our exercise programs.

FAQs
Absolutely! Exercising during pregnancy is safe and beneficial for most people, most of the time. Before we confirm that you can attend, we’ll ask you a few questions to rule out any issues that might make exercise less safe for you in your pregnancy. If there are any concerns raised when we speak to you, it’s possible that you might not be able to join the group for the moment, or you may just need a letter from your medical team to let us know that you can safely participate.
It’s recommended that you wait at least 6 weeks after your baby’s delivery before you join an exercise group. For some people, it can take a little longer before you feel ready, and that’s completely fine. We’ll go through a checklist with you before you join to make sure that you’re ready. If you need something gentler to start off with, you can see one of our team members one-on-one before coming to the group.
Babies are welcome to come to the group until they’re moving around on their own. Unfortunately, our gym isn’t baby-proofed, so once babies are crawling we can’t guarantee their safety.
If you’re bringing your baby, bring along a mat for them to lie on. Otherwise, a water bottle and a small towel are the only things you’ll need. We provide all the exercise equipment, including yoga mats, and there’s a small section of the gym we can use for pram parking.
