Michelle has over 30 years’ clinical and executive experience in private and public health and aged care organisations, and the Victorian public sector. Michelle holds qualifications in speech pathology, linguistics and public health, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) and Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Michelle has a strong commitment to effective corporate and clinical governance and continuous improvement. She advocates for community health as a pivotal component of the broader healthcare service delivery system, providing accessible, high-quality health treatment, prevention, promotion, and supportive care services for vulnerable members of the community.

Michelle is the Chair of the Board Quality and Safety Committee.
