Director

Rob has over 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors, with a broad knowledge of both the Victorian public sector and Tasmanian public sector.

With a strong background in public sector financial management, he has performed key roles in the management and evaluation of major procurement activities, including public/private partnership arrangements.

His range of experience includes specialist roles in project management, business case development, strategic planning, organisational transformation, financial modelling, tender evaluation, budget formulation and financial management.

His commercial experience includes a range of projects across the wagering, infrastructure, health, justice, emergency management, utilities and education sectors.

Currently Rob is a director and principal consultant at Boroko Consulting, providing commercial and financial advisory services to the public sector, for-purpose leaders and boards. He is also a board director at Maryborough District Health Service, Haven Home Safe and Sport and Life Training (SALT).

Rob holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Systems from Monash University. He is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD), a qualified Gateway Reviewer and a member of the Australian Computer Society.

Rob was appointed as a Director of the healthAbility Board in July 2020 and is the Chair of the Board Finance and External Audit Committee.
