We offer the unique combination of private and publicly funded health care which enables us to take a holistic approach to health care. As a not-for-profit, any surplus we generate goes back into providing more quality care, re-investing in improving the health of as many people in need as possible.
Our range of health services can be accessed through the following options:
Support at Home funding
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Full fee (private) payment, with the ability to process private health insurance claims
Community Health funding
Patient referred from a GP with a care plan, funded by Medicare
Voucher recipient
You may be eligible for subsidised public funded services if you are:
A pensioner or healthcare card holder and their dependent/s
A school student up to the age of 18
Of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
A refugee or asylum seeker
A pregnant woman
We also provide services under the Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP). You may be eligible for this funding if you have a disability, injury or chronic health issue, and are:
- Under 65 years old
- Under 50 years old if you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- And do not have NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) funding
Difficulty or inability to pay will not be a barrier to receiving treatment or service. healthAbility services are jointly funded by the Commonwealth and Victorian Governments.
