National Reconciliation Week 2024

During this year's National Reconciliation Week, we reflected on this year’s theme, ‘Now More Than Ever’, which reminds us that the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people must continue.

On Thursday 30 May, we hosted a National Reconciliation Week morning tea at our Eltham site and were honoured to have artist Alinta Koehrer in attendance to unveil her artwork, created for our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). 

The event was attended by members of our Board and staff, making it a truly memorable occasion. 

Now more than ever, healthAbility is committed to reconciliation. Through our RAP, we seek to understand and acknowledge injustices, make a measurable difference in addressing health and social inequities, and help improve health and social outcomes for and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
