Thank-you Emma McBride Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, Dr Carina Garland MP for Chisholm, and team for a wonderful meeting earlier this week.

We thoroughly enjoyed talking about all the innovative work to improve mental health with our partners, and the amazing initiatives in other areas that Emma has visited.

Work such as our After Hours Mental Health Nursing Service, supporting individuals when and where they need it most and diverting ED presentations thanks to our partnership with EMPHN and Eastern Health, and the creative work to expand the mental health workforce across the system.

We truly believe there is a lot we can learn collaborating together as a health system and look forward to learning and sharing more to make a positive impact on mental health through Victoria and Australia.
