Be socially engaged with your community through our social activity groups

Our group activities support independence, wellbeing, and social connection for all adults, including older people, people with disability and carers.

Sessions focus on confidence, community, and fun. Day trips, transport, meals, and funding options may be available.

There are many reasons to join one of our social activity groups:

  • Affordable recreational, leisure and social activities

  • Meeting people and making new friends

  • Staying connected to the community and social interaction

  • Maintaining skills needed for living independently

  • Keeping the body and mind active

  • Respite for carer/s

Our social activity groups are run from sites in Nillumbik, Whitehorse and Manningham, but you are welcome to join if you live outside these areas.

Costs below include fees for Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) participants, or Home Care Package (HCP) or Support at Home (SaH) clients. Please note the costs below do not include transport, which can be arranged for an extra fee.
